| Crossflow (tangential) Fans, Wheels and Heaters |
| Airtek crossflow fans are used wherever air is required to heat, cool or ventilate. Crossflow fans, also called tangential impellers have a long cylindrical wheel with many small blades at the periphery similar to a drum rotor with forward curved blades. Contrary to centrifugal impellers and axial-flow fans, the main flow crosses the blades of a crossflow fan twice (see fig.1). |
